How AI tokens work
A token is the unit AI services count (roughly three quarters of a word). The built-in guide reads your confirmations and writes the roadbook: that consumes tokens, nothing else does.

Included in your plan
Essential includes 1 million tokens a month, Pro 5 million: a complete trip is generated with a few tens of thousands of tokens, so a plan covers many roadbooks and revisions. Unused tokens do not carry over.

Need more? Packs, never a surprise
Beyond your monthly tokens, buy a pack once; it tops up your balance. No automatic overage, no commitment.

Or your own API key, at no charge
On any plan, including Traveller and Sync: paste your OpenAI, Anthropic or Google key in the AI settings, requests go straight from your browser to your provider, billed by them, and RoadBook+ charges nothing for the AI.
The AI is never required: you can create, edit and travel entirely by hand. Plans and packs are not on sale yet (launch phase): today everything is free, with a trial AI allowance.
