RoadBook

Travel together

Shared with the people who travel with you

One private link per traveller: read-only for the kids (with a surprise mode that hides what comes next), editing for your co-pilot. Everyone sees the same roadbook, offline, and updates reach all devices.

  • One private link per travellerSend each person their own link, by e-mail or message. No app store, no sign-up.
  • Encrypted end to endThe roadbook is encrypted on your device; our servers only ever hold ciphertext.
  • Roles that make senseEditing for your co-pilot, read-only for the others; each traveller sees their own tickets.
  • Surprise mode for kidsHide what comes next so the next day stays a surprise. Everything still works offline.

How it works

  1. 1

    Enable sync on the roadbook

From the editor (Share button): the roadbook is encrypted on your device with a trip key and pushed as ciphertext. You need an account; your travellers do not.

  2. 2

    Send each traveller a link

Copy it, share it from your phone or e-mail it from the app. The key travels in the link fragment only: it never reaches our servers.

  3. 3

    Travel as one

Each person opens the roadbook in their browser, adds it to the home screen, follows the day offline; any change syncs to everyone.

Roles and privacy

Private by design

Open a roadbook without an account: it is read and stored on your device and works offline as an installable app. Sync and sharing are optional, and encrypted end to end.

Yours, for good

Your roadbook is a file you own, in an open, documented format, not a row in someone’s database. Save it, reopen it, hand it to another tool or to next year’s AI. No lock-in.

Revoke any time

Each link can be revoked individually from the editor; a revoked traveller keeps only what was already on their device.

Sharing FAQ

1Do my travellers need an account?
No. A link is enough: it opens in the browser on any phone, can be added to the home screen and works offline.
2What can a read-only traveller do?
Follow the day, scan tickets, see bookings and contacts, tick their own checklist items. They cannot change the programme.
3What is surprise mode?
For children (or anyone you want to surprise): the coming days, or the next step, stay hidden until it is time. Everything else still works offline.
4Who can read the shared data?
Only people holding a link: the roadbook is encrypted on your device before it leaves it and our servers only store ciphertext. Revoke a link and the access stops.
